About BoardServe

Governance expertise, built into software.

BoardServe exists to give boards and the people who serve them a better way to work — one secure platform for the effectiveness reviews, skills audits, AI governance and compliance that good governance now demands, with the evidence to back every decision.

Why we built it

Born from practice, not theory.

The best governance happens when boards can see clearly — where their strengths and gaps lie, how effectively they work, and whether the controls they rely on are sound. Too often, that clarity is lost to email threads, spreadsheets and disconnected tools.

BoardServe draws on years of advising boards in the UK and internationally. It turns established governance methodology into a calm, modern platform — so the practice of good governance is easier to run, and easier to evidence.

The people behind it

Founded on governance authority.

What we believe

Principles that shape the product.

Defensible by default

Every assessment, request and decision is captured with an audit trail. Good governance should be evidenced, not asserted.

Built for senior people

Our users are time-constrained and non-technical. We design for clarity and confidence, not configuration.

Calm, not noisy

Governance software should reduce anxiety, not add to it. We show the next step, and keep the detail one click away.

Privacy as a first principle

Board material is the most sensitive data an organisation holds. We treat security and confidentiality as foundational.
