Where does your governance actually stand?
Three tracks, one for board members, one for company secretaries, one for governance consultants. Fifteen questions each, every one with a plain-English explainer so you know what is really being asked. At the end you get a one-page summary of where you are, what the gaps cost you, and what we would fix first.

How to use it
- Mark Yes only if you would defend the answer in front of a regulator, an auditor or a funder.
- Use In progress where work has started but nobody owns it yet. Those are usually the quickest things to fix.
- Every section ends with what BoardServe does about it, so you can see how the gaps map onto the platform.

Before you start
- Who should complete the Governance Quick Check?
- Whoever the track describes. Board members and trustees take track A, company secretaries and governance leads take track B, consultants and advisers take track C. Allow about 20 minutes.
- How is it scored?
- You answer Yes, In progress or No to the 15 questions in your track. Your score is the count of Yes answers, In progress does not count, and that places you on one of four starting points.
- What do I get at the end?
- A one-page summary you can download, showing your score, your starting point, your score by area and the gaps worth a conversation. A copy is emailed to you and to the BoardServe team so we can prepare for a call.
- Is this an assessment or legal advice?
- Neither. It is a starting point for board discussion. Review it with a qualified person before relying on it.
- Do you store my answers?
- Your answers stay in your browser as you work and are sent only when you choose to get your summary. We then keep your contact details and result so we can follow up about a call. We do not add you to a mailing list.
