Where to start
Two ways in, both credited.
If a full year is a bigger commitment than the evidence currently supports, start with one of these and put the fee towards the licence.
Paid pilot
£3,500 90 days
Run BoardServe with your own board for 90 days, with onboarding support included, and decide on the evidence of your own meeting year rather than a demonstration. The fee is credited in full against your first year's licence.
AI Governance Health Check
£2,950 One assessment cycle
A structured AI governance maturity assessment across the organisation, aligned to ISO/IEC 42001 and the EU AI Act, ending in a board-ready written report. The fee is credited in full against your first year's licence.

Questions
Pricing, answered.
- How is BoardServe priced?
- BoardServe is licensed at organisation level, not per seat, in three tiers: Core from £4,950 a year, Professional from £9,500 and Enterprise from £25,000. Each tier carries a one-off onboarding fee, of £1,500, £3,000 and £7,500 respectively. The comparison table above sets out what each tier includes, and the final figure is confirmed after a short walkthrough of your board and committee structure.
- What is the difference between the tiers?
- Core covers board administration for a single board and one entity, up to 12 users: meetings, packs, actions, documents and declarations. Professional adds committees, the full assessment suite and the AI features, up to 40 users. Enterprise runs the same across multiple entities with unlimited users. The comparison table above lists every difference.
- What does the onboarding fee cover?
- A one-off implementation at the start of the engagement: configuring your organisation, setting up your boards, committees and document library, tailoring the question banks to your governance framework, and training the people who will run it. It is charged once, not annually.
- Can we start on Core and move up later?
- Yes. The tiers are ceilings on users, entities and features rather than separate products, so moving from Core to Professional adds committees, the assessment suite and the AI features to the organisation you have already set up. Your boards, documents and history carry over, and the change to your licence is agreed at the point you need it.
- Is it priced per user or per organisation?
- Per organisation. Each tier includes a stated number of users: 12 on Core, 40 on Professional and unlimited on Enterprise. There is no per-seat charge within that ceiling, so adding a committee member, an observer or an adviser does not change the price.
- Where is our data stored?
- Board material is stored in the UK and EU, encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access and full audit trails. See our Security and Trust Centre for detail.
